TUNABLE X-BAND BAND-PASS WAVEGUIDE FILTER
The tunable X-band band-pass waveguide filter is used for measuring the carrier frequency and the spectral characteristics of high-power microwave pulses. The filter design comprises a basic waveguide with input and output flanges and a resonant waveguide. The resonant waveguide is plunged into the basic waveguide to a certain depth determining the circuit the resolution of the filter. The resonant waveguide has a short-circuiting piston displaceable with a microscrew. The position of the piston inside the resonant waveguide determines the central frequency of the filter bandwidth.
