A HIGH-POWER RELATIVISTIC MICROWAVE REPETITIVE PULSE GENERATOR
A high-power relativistic
microwave repetitive
pulse generator SINUS-500
The microwave generator is a relativistic backward wave oscillator with a nanosecond electron beam produced by the SINUS high-current repetitive pulsed accelerator.
Wavelength | ~ 3 cm |
Pulsed power MW | ~ 500 |
Pulse duration ns | ~ 15 |
Output pulse structure Gaussian or other by customer's request | Gaussian or other by customer's request |
Pulse repetition rate | up to 200 Hz |
1. | Single pulse mode | |
2. | Burst mode with the pulse repetition rate up to 200 Hz, the burst duration 1 s, and the burst interval 3 min.
3. | Continuous mode with the pulse repetition rate up to 200 Hz and the continuous operation time 1 h.
4. | Generator input power
- in the single pulse mode - in the burst mode - in the continuous mode | 5 kW 15 kW 50 kW |
The microwave generator can be used as a stationary laboratory setup or as a mobile unit. The mobile version of the generator can be placed in a standard 6x2.5x2.1 m, 25-ton master container.
The system is controlled electronically. The control boards are made conform to the PC standard. The software is designed to operate in the Microsoft Windows.
